System Administrator (DevOps)

Payment Service Provider Platon provides payment processing services to a wide range of e-commerce participants in Ukraine. Since 2012, Platon has successfully operated in Ukraine, collaborating with various companies.

• Diagnose and promptly resolve complex technical incidents.
• Support and monitor service stability.
• Configure and optimize MySQL (Percona) to ensure uninterrupted Master-Master replication.
• Protect infrastructure: configure firewalls, ModSecurity, use security scanners, and prepare systems for PCI DSS certification.
• Administer RabbitMQ clusters for processing message queues.
• Configure networking equipment.
• Work closely with software engineers and product owners to identify priorities, estimate, and plan tasks.

• Experience of 3-5 years, preferably in high-load and fault-tolerant systems.
• Understanding of information security principles.
• Hands-on experience with iptables, dm-crypt, ModSecurity (WAF), security scanners, and firewall configurations.
• Knowledge of MySQL/Percona with the ability to build and restore Master-Master replication.
• Deep knowledge and practical experience with Linux (RedHat-like and Debian-like).
• Experience with containerization and virtualization: LXC, KVM, Docker.
• Practical administration of file systems (LVM).
• Practical experience administering web servers Nginx and Apache.
• Understanding of network protocols and hands-on experience deploying VPN solutions (especially OpenVPN).
• Configuration and customization of Zabbix.
• Skills in writing complex scripts (Bash, Python, or other languages).
• Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
