Why implement analytics in web applications?

Analytics is implemented in web applications to:

1. Understand user behavior

Where they click, what they ignore, how far they get, and where they leave. Without this, a product is blind, it's unclear what works and what doesn't.

2. Evaluate the effect of changes

Changed the form design, did registrations go up or down? Analytics shows this clearly, in numbers, not feelings.

3. Find bottlenecks

Are users massively abandoning the cart before checkout? Maybe a bug, a fear, or an inconvenience, metrics will show the exact drop-off point.

4. Segment the audience

New and returning users behave differently. Some are on desktop, some on mobile. Analytics lets you draw conclusions by group.

5. Make product decisions

What to develop, what to remove, where to invest resources. Without analytics, it's guesswork.

6. Justify business results

Is the product working? What conversion rate does it give? Where is revenue growing? All of this comes only through numbers.

Summary: without analytics, a web application simply exists. With analytics, it develops.
